Song Setup

Song Format Guide

Prepare your karaoke songs correctly so Ampoyoke can read and play them by number.

01

MP4 files only

Ampoyoke reads karaoke video files in MP4 format. Make sure each file is playable and contains the video/audio needed for karaoke.

02

Put all songs in one folder

Create one folder for your karaoke songs, for example: KARAOKE. Put all MP4 songs inside this folder. Do not use subfolders.

03

Add a song ID number at the beginning

Every song must start with a 4-digit ID number so users can dial the song number inside the app.

0001 - Song Title.mp4 0002 - Song Title.mp4 0003 - Song Title.mp4
  • Start from 0001
  • Continue the numbering in order
  • Avoid special characters in filenames
  • Keep the name simple and readable
04

Connect and select your folder

  1. Plug your USB into your Android TV box, tablet, or phone using OTG if needed.
  2. Open the Ampoyoke app.
  3. Tap the gear icon / settings icon.
  4. Find and select the folder where your songs are stored.
  5. Tap “Use This Folder”.
  6. Done.
05

Dial the song ID and press play

After setup, dial the 4-digit song ID in the app, then press Play.

Dial 0001 to play the song named “0001 - Song Title.mp4”.
